Reviews from musicians

There is always a good crowd no matter what. If you play inside, the room is always packed because they don't have table service, and people are always waiting in line for a beer. People also genuinely go here for the music and vibes. The owner is a musician and always pays on time. He's met our guarantee and even encouraged us to make it higher! Truly a great spot, but they are very selective with the music they have play. I've seen a ton of bands from psychedelic to indie to blues to western swing, and they're always really good bands... no wonder, 'cause they actually pay!
Keep in mind, "good" doesn't mean "famous". From what I hear, they're opening another location in Austin somewhere. Most shows here are free to get in, and they work only with guarantees.
