A small performance-only venue slightly off the beaten track in Inman Sq., Cambridge. I've never understood why this is such a popular place to play -- it's a little hard to get, charges a rental fee, generally draws tiny audiences and requires that all the promo work be on the shoulders of the musicians playing there.

It's been 2 years since I've played here, but in my experience they charge a fairly steep rental fee to use the space, although you do get to collect 100% of a (suggested) cover fee. Rarely made the money back, but with the right band and a persuasive door person that's certainly possible. Maybe enough to pay the band well seems like more of a long shot.

It's a decent, small room, with a baby grand piano, drumset, sound system, and not really any built-in audience.
