My gig here was fantastic. First of all, the door person was very professional and made sure *everyone* paid cover, and completely cleared the room between sets -- no letting their friends get in free, no fucking around. They're obviously trying to get as much money as possible for the musicians.

The room has a decent sound and the audience is very appreciative and attentive. The only reason people come here is for the music -- no bar, no food, nothing allowed here but maybe water bottles.

I don't know if it was the Stone or the monthly curator, but someone got us some great press coverage. We made a decent amount of money for "out" music... 100% of the cover is given to musicians that play here.

Highly recommended, but it's generally invitation-only. The usual setup is that different people curate the space each month.
